Welcome to Comestri. To begin, we will sign in to the Comestri application.
Click Product Configurations on the main menu to expand. The first item in the menu is Classes.
Class is the first component of the Product Model that you would want to set up in your PIM.
We already have a few Classes set up, but we will show how to set one up from scratch.
For any particular class, you can see the Class Name, Class Type, and Next Level. Style is an example of a Variation Class Type with Colour being its Next Level class.
The Next Level is the level down from the Class you are currently looking at. For example, if you are looking at Style, the Next Level is Colour.
Click the ellipsis to Edit or Delete a class, or simply click on the Class name to go to the Edit screen.
This is what a Class would look like once set up.
In this example, we’ll set up a Group Product Class together.
Pick a name for your class that you can easily recognise. Select Grouped from the Class Type drop-down menu.
We will name our new Class “Group Product”.
In the Data to Include section, we’ll select Media as we want our Group Product images and videos sitting at this Class level.
In the Attributes to Include drop-down field, select the Attributes you want to assign to this level.
Select the Attributes from the drop-down list or simply type an Attribute name to narrow the selection.
Once you are happy with your class setup, click Save.
The Filters panel on the right-hand side allows you to search for a Class based on the Class Name and the Class Type.
When editing your products, you will find Class under the General tab.
