Video Transcript

In this overview video, you’ll be exploring Comestri’s Channels using an existing Comestri Shopify Channel as an example.

Let’s start by clicking Channels on the main menu. You then click Manage Channels on the expanded menu.

Once the Channels page opens, you can filter to a Channel using Name, Status or Type.

Clicking on the Channel name will take you to the Channel Management and Configuration Tabs.

The first screen you will see is the Overview Tab that provides a summary of all Channel activity including recent Export/Import Jobs.

Export Items is the next tab.

It displays all product data that has been accepted and processed by the Channel for export to an external platform.

Next is the Import Items tab.

It displays product data that has been imported from an external platform (e.g. Shopify) based on your Channel configuration.

The Orders tab is next.

It displays orders that have been imported by the Channel from an external platform.

Next is the Shipments Tab.

It displays shipments that have been imported from an external Order Management System.

Next is the Transactions tab.

It displays the status of product data (e.g. pending, transmitted, failed) that the Channel has tried to send to an external platform.

Next is the Export Jobs tab.

It displays a list of export jobs (i.e. product, price or inventory jobs scheduled for export) which have run or are currently running.

Next is the Import Jobs tab.

It displays a list of import jobs (i.e. order jobs scheduled for import) which have run or are currently running.

Next is the Webhook Jobs tab. (This is only relevant to certain Channels).

It displays import jobs that have been triggered by pre-defined events (e.g. order creation) occurring on the external platform.

Next is the Reports tab.

Here you can create Channel Management Error reports to help you troubleshoot your Channel errors.

Next is the Change Logs tab.

It is the audit log for changes that have taken place in your Channel.

The last tab is the Configuration tab. Here is where you set up configuration settings for the Channel.

Configuration includes the Configuration sections listed in the left-hand menu.
