Welcome to Comestri. To begin, let’s sign in to the Comestri application.

In this video, we’ll be covering Pricebooks. Let’s start by clicking Product Configurations on the main menu. Next, click Pricebooks on the expanded menu.

In Comestri, Pricebooks are used to allocate prices to products. For example, you could have a Sale Price (markdown) Pricebook, as well as Pricebooks by Currency.

Let’s start creating a new Pricebook. Click the New Pricebook button at the top right of your screen. This will open a pop-up box.

You then enter a Name for your new Pricebook. If you’re working with multiple currencies, we recommend that you include the currency in the Pricebook name so that it’s clear which currency you’re working with.

Next is the Status of the Pricebook. If you want to be actively using this Pricebook, then set the Status to Active.

You then select a Price Type. Comestri allows you to select a Price Type of Normal, Sale, Retail or Cost. We recommend setting your Price Type as Normal if your Pricebook contains your products’ listed price.

If your Pricebook contains your products’ sale or promotional prices, you would select Sale as your Price Type.

Next is Currency. In Comestri, you can create Pricebooks by currency. Depending on your currency configuration, you’ll see a range of currency options in the drop-down list.

You can also apply tax and/or duty to the prices in your Pricebook.

Lastly, you’ll see that Pricebooks can have From and To dates. When managing your promotions, you may want to set a From and To date for the duration of a sale.

Once you’re happy with your Pricebook settings, you can click Save.

You can now see that your new Pricebook is listed on the Pricebooks page.

You can click the ellipsis to View Price Items, Edit or Delete a Pricebook at any time.
